The night sky, guided
A connected telescope that finds, tracks, and explains what you're seeing — so every evening outside becomes a discovery.
Sound familiar?
Traditional telescopes reward patience and expertise. But most people just want to look up and understand what they see.
Setup shouldn’t take longer than stargazing
Manual alignment means squinting at finder scopes, adjusting knobs, and hoping you pointed at the right star. Most beginners give up before they see anything worth remembering.
Finding objects shouldn’t require a degree
Star charts, RA/Dec coordinates, and magnitude tables are powerful tools — for people who already know what they’re looking at. Everyone else just sees dots.
The view shouldn’t drift away mid-sentence
Without motorized tracking, the Earth’s rotation slides your target out of the eyepiece in seconds. You spend more time re-centering than observing.
Three steps to your first observation
From box to Saturn's rings in under ten minutes.
Connect
Set the telescope down, open the app, and tap Connect. GPS and a built-in wide-field camera handle alignment automatically — no star-hopping required.
Point
Browse the sky map for tonight’s best targets, or let Celestara suggest what’s visible. Select an object and the telescope slews, focuses, and locks on.
Discover
Watch the view sharpen in real time. Image stacking pulls out detail your eye alone can’t catch, while the app explains what you’re seeing and what to look at next.
See more than you expected
Celestara's guided software doesn't just point the telescope — it enhances what arrives at the sensor. Image stacking combines dozens of short exposures into a single, crisp view that reveals cloud bands on Jupiter, the Cassini division in Saturn's rings, or the glow of the Orion Nebula.
While you observe, the app identifies what you're seeing and adds context: distance, composition, best viewing times, and what to look at next. Every session builds your understanding of the sky.

Questions & answers
The practical details, so you know what to expect.
How long does setup take?
Under five minutes. Place the telescope, open the app, and tap Connect. The built-in GPS and wide-field camera align the optics automatically — no manual star alignment needed.
What can I actually see?
The Moon’s craters in sharp detail, Saturn’s rings, Jupiter’s cloud bands, the Orion Nebula, Andromeda, star clusters, and thousands of catalogued objects. Image stacking enhances faint targets that are hard to see with the naked eye through a traditional scope.
Do I need the monthly subscription?
The telescope works without a subscription for basic viewing and tracking. The software subscription unlocks cloud-enhanced image stacking, object recognition context, guided observation recommendations, and storage for your observation history.
What about light pollution?
Celestara’s app factors in your local light pollution level and suggests targets that are visible from your location. Image stacking also helps pull out detail that light pollution washes out for the unaided eye.
Which devices are compatible?
The Celestara app runs on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. The telescope connects over Wi-Fi — no special adapter needed. A stable connection works up to 30 metres from the telescope.
Tonight, look up and understand what you see
Celestara turns the complexity of the night sky into a guided, beautiful experience — for you and everyone watching alongside you.
